The Crown Estate’s Marine team are the managers of the seabed and much of the coastline around England, Wales and Northern Ireland and our vision is to create the most sustainable and attractive marine economy and environment in the world. Adrian’s role is to drive innovation and technical excellence at the intersection of sustainable energy solutions by providing technical leadership, insights, and expertise that shape the design of CCUS and hydrogen initiatives and leasing. Previous experience as an engineer, team leader, general manager and now technology manager stems from academic training in chemical and petroleum engineering and 37 years in energy. As Chair of the Offshore Wind and CCS Colocation Forum he is involved in supporting data and evidence to enable storage and colocation of CO2 alongside other seabed uses particularly offshore wind arrays.
