The opening session of the inaugural OEUK North Sea CCS and Hydrogen Summit will set the scene on how CCS and hydrogen sectors have arrived to where they are today. It will lay the foundations for the summit dialogue: how do we ensure that we unlock, deliver and sustain resilient CCS and hydrogen networks. It will explore how projects and infrastructure can unlock the potential of the North Sea region and what we need to see to integrate across jurisdictions and how to manage increasingly busy offshore environments. These networks, connected between both on and offshore domains, can support energy security, decarbonisation and industrial ambitions. If done right, we can see benefits for the UK and neighbouring North Sea countries and the region can remain the powerhouse for European energy.
